Bristol Monthly Green Event Surgery

After delivering the Green Event training (commissioned by Bristol Green Capital and Bristol City Council) it has been great to hear about the green initiatives that were planned for 2015.

As part of our commitment to ‘greening’ Bristol’s event industry, we will be hosting monthly Green Event Surgeries.

Where & When: The Green Events surgery will usually be on the second Tuesday of the month  6-8pm.

Who is invited: Anyone working in the Bristol Event scene.
We welcome venues, event management companies and festivals to come along.

What is the Format of Green Event Surgery: Each month we will focus on a different aspect of sustainable procurement. This will be followed by facilitated networking.   It will be a great chance to network with other events interested in sustainability, share inspiration and ideas, collaborate, and ask industry experts your green event questions.

Next Surgery:

Tuesday 12th April
Colston St, Bristol, BS1 5BD
Sources for Local Sustainable Food & Volunteering Advice
This month we have two speakers sharing their wisdom. Traci Lewis of Sustain Live,  will be discussing local sustainable food and Rob Wilkinson from My Cause UK will be talking about managing volunteers.
We also plan to continue our Generator discussion at the end of the evening, so please come along if you are interested in having access to a renewably powered generator.
The venue this month will be the Colston Yard
The Green Event Surgeries are hosted on the 2nd Tuesday of the month 6-8pm.
