Last year we got stuck into curating a guide for all our wonderful creative folk at Shambala (and beyond!) in order to support them to produce their projects as sustainably as possible.
We’re aiming for Shambala to be a fully ‘circular’ festival and managing creative production materials well is integral to achieving this. We intend to eliminate waste from our culture and vocabulary, capture and recycle 100% of recyclable material onsite, and inspire new ways of working.
This guide serves as an outline for how to best minimise the environmental impact of creative projects, without hindering their creative impact. By exploring new ways of doing things and sharing our own experiences and knowledge, we hope to inspire events, the wider industry and individuals to create positive change and take action too!
