Camp Kin

The Event

During the ‘Covid Wilderness’ years of 2020 and 2021, rather than resting on our laurels, we got our teeth stuck into a new challenge – a series of socially distanced camping events, on the Shambala festival site.

Camp Kin was a series of gorgeous, spacious and creative camping weekends with food, music, activities, and more than a taste of the festival magic our usual audience know and love. We ran six camps in total, over three weekends in 2020 and three weekends in 2021.

Camp Kin was a chance to gently emerge from social hibernation and rekindle friendships and connections with  close friends and family, round the campfire, in the Northamptonshire countryside.

These were the days of social distancing and ‘bubbles’, so we offered  designated pitches for each group, with options including both pre-pitched glamping and ‘bring your own’ tent and campervan pitches. Pre-pitched options even came with a dedicated loo on your pitch, especially for your group.

Our campers enjoyed a packed line up of activities from paddle boarding to dance workshops, all designed to work in a socially distanced capacity, with a small line up of incredible musicians to enjoy – from Sam Redmore to Me & My Friends and Moulettes to Dizraeli.
