

Adassa is a historian specialising in Black History, Cultural Storytelling, and Decolonial History.
Here at Kambe, Adassa works as our DEI Consultant, developing and maintaining our DEI Strategy and Policy. She delivers team training, monitors our progress and consults on everything DEI across all departments. From time-to-time she also puts her event management expertise to good use, supporting our Production team on event delivery.
Outside of Kambe, Adassa works in the wider Heritage & Arts sectors as a DEI Consultant, Historian, Researcher and Curator/Producer specialising in community histories. With a background in research, production, and equity-driven initiatives, she collaborates with institutions, festivals, and cultural organisations to create meaningful, accessible, and transformative heritage experiences.
