Chapter Festival is a celebration of The Rainbow Venues’ birthday in the heart of Birmingham. Set in the industrial quarter of Digbeth, this one-day festival celebrated their 13th birthday and showcased the best of house and techno music. Kambe, having a long lasting relationship with Birmingham venues and The Rainbow got invited to join the festival’s team. The aim of the collaboration was to grow, develop, and improve operational standards.
Our team carried out a review of Chapter’s management plan, process and protocol, from productions management to health and safety. Following the results of the review it was suggested to introduce an event control team to the existing operational structure. We have successfully implemented the changes and introduced an effective event control team, which improved the communications and event logging on the day immensely. Comprehensive recording of the event and debriefing post event added to the quality and standards of the festival while ensuring the endurance of the conditions of license.
