The Event

Swingamajig is the UK’s first one day urban festival dedicated to electro swing, gypsy folk and vintage mayhem. After an amazing debut year in 2013, Kambe Events was asked to work with the existing team to assist in producing the event to the highest possible standards and oversee the expansion of the event and brand.

Since then, Swingamajig has grown organically, with 2016’s event at the Rainbow venues seeing six diverse stages showcasing some of the most inventive and entertaining acts on the scene. Live bands, DJs, swing dancers, cabaret, vintage cinema, acrobats, artists and more. A full day and night of wild vintage debauchery that is the talk of the town!

Kambe Events has also implemented sustainable practices to Swingamajig to reduce the environmental impact of the event. Having signed the Powerful Thinking’s Festival Vision: 2025, the aim is to further reduce those impacts.
